Middle School

6th-8th Grade
Welcome to Legacy Christian School!

Middle school is an exciting time for our students as they learn to navigate changing classrooms for their various subjects and become accustomed to having multiple teachers throughout the day. It also comes with privileges such as having their own lockers and participating in student leadership. Our middle school students are leaders-in-training and are given extra responsibilities with our student families and outreach programs.

Our middle school students are given additional opportunities to shine through the many ACSI academic competitions including spelling bee, speech meet, science fair, math olympics and an art festival. There are also many electives that our middle school students will be able to choose from each semester. Middle School elective choices include: Spanish, leadership, computer sciences, yearbook, performing arts, art, teacher assistant, office assistant, and tutor.

We have also expanded our sports program. Middle school boys are offered flag football, basketball, soccer, volleyball, and cross-country. Middle school girls’ offerings include basketball, volleyball, soccer, cross-country and cheerleading.

Our goal is to be a greenhouse for spiritual growth. In addition to our weekly chapel services and spiritual emphasis days, all subject matter is taught from a Biblical world-view.

Additionally, our middle school students have many opportunities for leadership and new experiences they can only get from a smaller school setting. The teachers and administrators know each student by name and work with them personally through some of the ups and downs of teenage life.

Our goal is to see our students reach their full potential and be prepared for the future God has for them. We are excited about the upcoming year and look forward to you being a part of it!

Our middle school classes meet from 8:15 am – 3:00 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Wednesday classes meet from 8:15 am – 2:05 pm
